Overview

You can find a list of templates in the template gallery. Most of them can be loaded on existing servers using Xenon or can be used to create new servers using Discord’s own template feature. Some legacy templates are considered internal and can only be loaded using Xenon.

Loading a template

Loading a template replaces all channels and roles in the server. It does not kick the members.

You can also load any Discord template in an existing server by supplying the template link, or supply the name to load one of Xenon’s old templates.

/template load name_or_id options
name_or_id required

The name, id or link of the template you want to load, e.g. starter, 6p9d4EBbuYcM or https://discord.new/6p9d4EBbuYcM.

options optional

A list of arguments, separated by a space. Putting a ! in front of an argument disables that option, * enables all of them and !* disables all of them.

Loads the roles and nothing else.

Loads everything beside channels.

Creating a template

Create template of your server and put it in Xenon’s template gallery.

  1. Go to the server you want to create a template of, open its server settings and look for the “Server Template” tab.

  2. Fill out all the required details.

  3. Click copy on the template link.

  4. Head over to the submit form and paste your template link in.

It should now be available in the template gallery.

Browsing templates from Discord

Show the public templates without leaving Discord. The gallery has search and filters that this does not.

Template info

Section titled “Template info”

Show a published template’s details, its name, description and how many people have loaded it, without applying it to your server.

/template info name_or_id
name_or_id required

The name, id or link of the template you want to look at.

Checking or canceling a load

Section titled “Checking or canceling a load”
/template status

Reports how far the running load has got on this server.

/template cancel

Stops the load. Anything already applied stays applied.
