Audit Log

Overview

Xenon keeps its own record of what it was asked to do on your server, separate from Discord’s audit log. It answers the question Discord’s cannot: not what changed, but who ran the command that changed it.

That matters most after a load. Discord’s audit log shows a wave of channel and role creations attributed to Xenon; this one shows which member started it.

Entries are kept for 365 days and then removed.

Show the actions recently taken on this server, newest first.

The reply is only visible to you, and carries a filter you can use to narrow it to particular kinds of action, plus buttons to page through the results. Both work on the message itself rather than as command arguments.

Note

Only administrators can run this, and it is subject to the level set with /settings permissions.

What gets recorded

Every entry names the member who ran the command and when they ran it.

Backups. Creating a backup of this server, loading one onto it, and enabling or disabling an interval for it.

Templates and copies. Loading a template, and copying this server or pasting a copy onto it.

Chatlogs. Creating a chatlog of a channel and loading one into a channel, each naming the channel involved.

Syncs. Creating a message, ban or role sync, each naming what was joined to what and the sync id, and deleting a sync by id.

Actions taken on other servers do not appear here, even when they involve this one as a source. The log belongs to the server you run it in.
