- 🧭┃suggestions📝 Guidelines for the Suggestions Thread I. Submission Format (Required) To ensure your idea is clearly understood and reviewable, please adhere to this format: One Suggestion Per Post: Submit each distinct idea in its own separate post or comment. This allows the community to discuss and vote on individual concepts without confusion. Use a Clear Title/Subject: Start your post with a bracketed tag, summarizing the idea. Example: [Suggestion] New Diplomatic Action: Resource Embargo Detail the Problem (The "Why"): Clearly describe the current issue or gap in the game that your suggestion addresses. Example: "Current trade mechanics are too simple and lack a way to punish aggressive nations economically." Detail the Solution (The "What"): Explain the proposed feature or change in detail. Include any new UI elements or specific numerical parameters. Example: "Introduce an 'Embargo' diplomatic action that, when accepted, imposes a 25% penalty on all resource exports from the target nation for 5 turns." Explain the Benefit (The "Impact"): Explain how this change improves the game's balance, fun factor, or player experience. II. Content Best Practices Following these tips will increase the likelihood of your suggestion being considered: Be Specific: Vague requests like "make the game better" or "fix the economy" are not actionable. Focus on specific mechanics. Maintain Theme: Ensure your suggestion aligns with the Nation Simulation and Grand Strategy theme of Affairs and Order. Check for Duplicates: Before posting, use the search function to see if your idea has already been submitted. If it has, use the existing thread to upvote and add further discussion or details. Encourage Discussion: Be prepared to discuss your idea and accept constructive criticism from the community and the development team. III. Prohibited and Invalid Submissions Suggestions that fall under these categories will be removed or ignored: Bug Reports: Suggestions threads are not for technical issues. Please use the designated #bug-reports channel. Balance Demands: Do not demand immediate, significant nerfs or buffs that drastically shift core game balance (e.g., "Give my nation unlimited starting gold"). Rudeness/Attacks: Do not insult developers, admins, or other community members. Suggestions must be constructive and respectful. "Fix the Game" Posts: Submissions lacking a specific, actionable proposal will be removed. IV. Review Process & Expectations Upvotes/Reactions Matter: The Admin team actively monitors community reactions (upvotes, emoji reactions) to gauge interest in a feature. High interest helps prioritize ideas. No Guarantees: While all suggestions are read and logged, the development team cannot guarantee that any specific suggestion will be implemented due to time, technical limitations, or design goals. Feedback: If a developer comments on your suggestion, it means your idea has been noted and is under consideration, even if the implementation timeline is unknown.

How to load it
01
Press “Use this template” and choose the server you already have.
02
Discord asks which server, and adds Xenon to it if it is not there yet.
03
Xenon lists every channel and role it would add or delete. Nothing changes until you confirm.
How do I load it onto a server I already have?
Press “Use this template” and pick “On a server you already have”. Discord asks which server, then Xenon lists every channel and role it would add or delete and waits there. It works whether or not Xenon is in the server yet.
Can I start a new server from it instead?
“On a new server” hands you to Discord’s own create-a-server flow. That route needs no bot and no account here.
Can I load it with a command?
Yes, once Xenon is in the server: /template load name_or_id: kQwJanW3GF86. It applies what the website applies. The website is the one that shows you the changes first.
Template commandsShould I back the server up first?
Yes, on any server that already has something in it. Run /backup create before you load, because loading replaces channels and roles and the backup is the way back.
How backups workWhat happens to the channels and roles already there?
The ones this template does not have are deleted, by default. The website names every one of them before you confirm; the command takes !delete-channels or !delete-roles to leave them alone.
Will I lose my members or messages?
Members stay. A template never kicks anyone, though they do lose any role it deletes. Messages live in their channel, so a channel this template does not have takes its messages with it when it goes. That is what the backup is for.
Can I change it after loading?
Yes. A template is a starting point, not a commitment. Once it is applied, rename, add and delete whatever you like in Discord.
What does a template not carry?
Structure and little else: categories, channels, roles, their order and their permission overwrites, plus a few server settings. No messages, members, emojis, stickers, automod rules, scheduled events or onboarding.
Why does Discord ask for Administrator?
A template creates and deletes roles and channels, and Discord lets a role manage only the roles below its own. Discord also adds Xenon’s role at the bottom of the list, so you may have to move it up before it can change the roles above it.
Does it cost anything?
No. Loading templates is free and always has been. Premium buys message history inside backups, more automatic backups and cross-server sync, none of which touches templates.
