Recover from a raid
If someone deletes your channels or mass bans your members, load the last backup and the whole structure comes back, channel by channel and role by role.
Backups
Xenon saves the full structure of your Discord server and lets you rebuild it on any server you administrate. Roles, channels, categories, permission overwrites and server settings are captured every time. With Premium, messages, threads, forum posts, bans, nicknames and role assignments come back too, and a chatlog can archive one channel on its own.
A backup is a complete description of your server, not a screenshot. Loading it recreates the same structure on an empty server, or overwrites the one you already have.

/backup create
Backup created
Your server has been saved. Load it with /backup load.
If someone deletes your channels or mass bans your members, load the last backup and the whole structure comes back, channel by channel and role by role.
Create a backup on one server and load it on another. It is the fastest way to run a second community with the same layout.
Set an interval and Xenon keeps saving on its own. Premium keeps up to eight of them per server so you can pick a point before the problem.
Load only the parts you need. Bring back roles without touching channels, or the other way round.
Pin a backup from before a big restructure so you always have something to fall back to.
Discord will not let you transfer a server between communities. A backup is the practical substitute.
A backup takes the whole server and the most recent messages in every channel. A chatlog does the opposite. It goes deep on a single channel and can be reposted wherever you need it. Premium only.
Save a channel’s recent messages with their author names, avatars and embeds, without taking a backup of the whole server.
/chatlog create
Load a chatlog into any channel you administrate, on the same server or a different one. Messages are reposted through a webhook, in order.
/chatlog load
A backup spends its message budget across every channel. A chatlog spends it all on one, so a busy support or announcement channel keeps more of its history.
up to 1,000 messages
Chatlogs are stored like backups: tied to the account that made them, listed when you ask, and removed only when you delete them.

No. Loading is restricted to the server owner by default and creating requires administrator permission. Both are configurable with /settings permissions.
Backups are tied to the Discord account that created them and cannot be transferred. If you want to share a structure, publish it as a template instead.
It replaces them. Xenon recreates the saved structure, so anything not in the backup is removed. Create a fresh backup first if you are unsure.
A backup saves the whole server and, on Premium, the most recent messages in every channel. A chatlog saves a single channel and goes further back, and it can be reposted into any channel you administrate.
Premium reposts saved messages into the recreated channels through a webhook, with the original author name and avatar. They are copies, so reactions and edits are not carried over.
Discord lets a bot create 250 roles per server every 48 hours, and a load that runs into that stops where it is. The quota counts creations, so repeated loads exhaust it faster than one large server does. Wait for the window to roll, or load the channel layout without touching roles.
Role creation cooldownXenon stores a link to each attached file rather than the file, so Discord decides whether it can still be fetched. Attachments come back if the backup is under 24 hours old, the original messages still exist, and the files on one message total less than 8MB.
