A free backup saves your channels but not what’s in them. Premium saves 50 to 250 messages per channel, depending on the plan, and posts them back when you load the backup.

Messages, threads, and forum posts are saved and restored with the server, up to 250 messages per channel. So are bans, nicknames, and role assignments. Premium also raises the limits to 250 stored backups and up to 8 automatic backups per server, and it adds sync and chatlogs. Plans start at $5.99 a month.
It’s counted per channel, not across the server. A plan that saves 250 messages per channel saves the most recent 250 in every channel it backs up, so a server with forty channels keeps ten thousand messages in one backup. Older messages are the ones dropped. A chatlog goes further back in a single channel.
Premium is linked to your Discord account and works on every server you administrate. Other admins without Premium won’t get the perks.

We refund a first payment asked for within 24 hours, a monthly renewal within three days, and a yearly one within seven. On top of that, consumers in the EU, EEA and UK have 14 days to withdraw from a first payment, less the part of the billing period already used. Cancel before the renewal date and you won’t be charged again.
