Press “Use this template” and pick “On a server you already have”. Discord asks which server, then Xenon lists every channel and role it would add or delete and waits there. It works whether or not Xenon is in the server yet.

“On a new server” hands you to Discord’s own create-a-server flow. That route needs no bot and no account here.

Yes, on any server that already has something in it. Run /backup create before you load, because loading replaces channels and roles and the backup is the way back.

The ones this template does not have are deleted, by default. The website names every one of them before you confirm; the command takes !delete-channels or !delete-roles to leave them alone.

Members stay. A template never kicks anyone, though they do lose any role it deletes. Messages live in their channel, so a channel this template does not have takes its messages with it when it goes. That is what the backup is for.

A template creates and deletes roles and channels, and Discord lets a role manage only the roles below its own. Discord also adds Xenon’s role at the bottom of the list, so you may have to move it up before it can change the roles above it.
