Press “Use this template” and choose the server you already have.

Discord asks which server, and adds Xenon to it if it is not there yet.

Xenon lists every channel and role it would add or delete. Nothing changes until you confirm.

How do I load it onto a server I already have?

Press “Use this template” and pick “On a server you already have”. Discord asks which server, then Xenon lists every channel and role it would add or delete and waits there. It works whether or not Xenon is in the server yet.

Can I start a new server from it instead?

“On a new server” hands you to Discord’s own create-a-server flow. That route needs no bot and no account here.

Can I load it with a command?

Yes, once Xenon is in the server: /template load name_or_id: HTecnXjbjWYM. It applies what the website applies. The website is the one that shows you the changes first.

Should I back the server up first?

Yes, on any server that already has something in it. Run /backup create before you load, because loading replaces channels and roles and the backup is the way back.

How backups work

What happens to the channels and roles already there?

The ones this template does not have are deleted, by default. The website names every one of them before you confirm; the command takes !delete-channels or !delete-roles to leave them alone.

Will I lose my members or messages?

Members stay. A template never kicks anyone, though they do lose any role it deletes. Messages live in their channel, so a channel this template does not have takes its messages with it when it goes. That is what the backup is for.

Can I change it after loading?

Yes. A template is a starting point, not a commitment. Once it is applied, rename, add and delete whatever you like in Discord.

What does a template not carry?

Structure and little else: categories, channels, roles, their order and their permission overwrites, plus a few server settings. No messages, members, emojis, stickers, automod rules, scheduled events or onboarding.

Why does Discord ask for Administrator?

A template creates and deletes roles and channels, and Discord lets a role manage only the roles below its own. Discord also adds Xenon’s role at the bottom of the list, so you may have to move it up before it can change the roles above it.

Does it cost anything?

No. Loading templates is free and always has been. Premium buys message history inside backups, more automatic backups and cross-server sync, none of which touches templates.
