Wie lade ich sie auf einen Server, den ich schon habe?

Klick auf „Diese Vorlage verwenden“ und wähle „Auf einem Server, den du schon hast“. Discord fragt, welcher Server, dann listet Xenon jeden Kanal und jede Rolle auf, die angelegt oder gelöscht würde, und wartet dort. Das geht auch, wenn Xenon noch nicht auf dem Server ist.

Kann ich stattdessen einen neuen Server damit starten?

„Auf einem neuen Server“ bringt dich zu Discords eigenem Ablauf für neue Server. Dafür brauchst du weder einen Bot noch ein Konto bei uns.

Kann ich sie mit einem Befehl laden?

Ja, sobald Xenon auf dem Server ist: /template load name_or_id: qqPFbfPZBXZF. Der Befehl macht dasselbe wie die Website. Die Website ist die, die dir die Änderungen vorher zeigt.

Sollte ich vorher ein Backup machen?

Ja, auf jedem Server, auf dem schon etwas ist. Führe /backup create aus, bevor du lädst, denn Laden ersetzt Kanäle und Rollen, und das Backup ist der Weg zurück.

Wie Backups funktionieren

Was passiert mit den Kanälen und Rollen, die schon da sind?

Die, die diese Vorlage nicht hat, werden standardmäßig gelöscht. Über die Website siehst du jede einzelne davon, bevor du bestätigst; beim Befehl lässt !delete-channels oder !delete-roles sie stehen.

Verliere ich Mitglieder oder Nachrichten?

Mitglieder bleiben. Eine Vorlage wirft niemanden raus, sie verlieren aber jede Rolle, die gelöscht wird. Nachrichten hängen an ihrem Kanal, also nimmt ein Kanal, den diese Vorlage nicht hat, seine Nachrichten mit. Genau dafür ist das Backup da.

Kann ich danach noch etwas ändern?

Ja. Eine Vorlage ist ein Startpunkt, keine Festlegung. Sobald sie angewendet ist, kannst du in Discord alles umbenennen, ergänzen und löschen.

Was bringt eine Vorlage nicht mit?

Fast nur Struktur: Kategorien, Kanäle, Rollen, ihre Reihenfolge und ihre Rechteüberschreibungen, dazu ein paar Servereinstellungen. Keine Nachrichten, Mitglieder, Emojis, Sticker, AutoMod-Regeln, geplanten Events oder Onboarding.

Warum verlangt Discord Administrator?

Eine Vorlage legt Rollen und Kanäle an und löscht sie, und Discord lässt eine Rolle nur die Rollen unter ihr verwalten. Discord hängt Xenons Rolle außerdem unten an, deshalb musst du sie eventuell nach oben schieben, bevor sie die Rollen darüber ändern kann.

Kostet das etwas?

Nein. Vorlagen laden ist kostenlos und war es immer. Premium bringt Nachrichtenverlauf in Backups, mehr automatische Backups und Server-Synchronisation, nichts davon betrifft Vorlagen.
